City Of London 1500m Swim Series

Welcome to the City of London 1.5km (1500m) Swim Series

Set in the Victoria Dock with the stunning and iconic backdrop of Canary Wharf, our City of London Swim Series allows you to trial your technique and speeds in the same body of water used for the world’s most popular triathlon in the world.

This event is aimed at open water swimmers and participants of Standard Distance Triathlons looking to gain experience in the open water swimming element of triathlon.

This is a fantastic opportunity to practice swimming in Victoria Dock in a race environment which is the main dock and one of London’s 3 Royal Docks. It is great knowing the swim environment of any triathlon before you actually do it and also can give you a clear indication of your 1.5km swim times if you previously have not completed this distance.

All competitors must have a NOWCA safety Wristband prior to the day – if you do not already have one please register & purchase a band by following this link… (You will be required to enter your NOWCA membership number during the entry process for theses races)

http://www.nowca.org/products/131-nowca-safety-wristband.aspx

The series will be run using the NOWCA timing system designed by leading industry professionals, which holds your personal medical information, emergency contact, and most importantly – gives access to your unique swimmer time.

Your 1.5km swim time will be not only be shown to you at the race end, but will also be emailed to you directly after the race, along with a number of swimmer-specific information about your swim.

Wetsuits are optional and tow floats are recommended without a wetsuit. Tow floats, wetsuits, and swim accessories will be available to hire or purchase on the day from our dedicated swim shop.
